Super Eagles FC began the season on a good note following a slender, well balanced 1–0 victory over Welkom Real Stars FC.
Midfielder Mojalefa Sekhoto scored the only goal of the match in the clash which was played at the Bahlokong Stadium in the Free State.
The Bethlehem based football club finished last season in 8th place, just one place above the last positioned Dynamos FC.
Amongst the many good performers on the pitch on the day was the sole goal scorer, Sekhoto, who’s goal made the difference in the match.
